1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the business relationship between FRANZ&FRIENDS DOG SPA (hereinafter referred to as “FRANZ&FRIENDS”) and its customers (hereinafter referred to as “customer”) in connection with the use of the services offered in relation to dog grooming and dog styling.

2. Appointment scheduling

Appointments can be made by phone, email, or online. Appointments are binding. In case of delays exceeding 15 minutes, FRANZ & FRIENDS reserves the right to shorten or cancel the appointment.

3. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. For cancellations made with less notice or in case of no-show, the full treatment price will be charged. This also applies in case of illness of the dog, unless a veterinary certificate is provided at short notice.

4. Prices and Payment

The prices for the services are based on the current price list or website. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF).
Payment is exclusively cashless – via bank transfer or Twint – directly after the treatment.

5. Dog's condition

The dog must be healthy, vaccinated, and free of parasites upon arrival. Any illnesses, behavioral problems, or special needs (e.g., allergies, aggression, anxiety) must be disclosed before treatment. The client is liable for any damages resulting from incomplete or incorrect information.

6. Liability

Each dog is handled with care and responsibility. However, no liability is accepted for injuries or health problems that may arise during grooming, unless caused by gross negligence. No liability is accepted for personal belongings (e.g., collars, blankets).

7. Obligations of animal owners

The owner remains responsible for the dog at all times. Should the dog exhibit aggressive behavior during the grooming session that makes safe execution impossible, the treatment may be terminated. In this case, a partial fee will be charged.

8. Photo and image material

With the client's consent, before and after photos of the dog may be used for advertising purposes (e.g., social media, website). This consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time.

9. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the current privacy policy and is not passed on to third parties.

10. Jurisdiction and applicable law

All legal matters are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.

11. Changes

FRANZ&FRIENDS DOG SPA reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The currently valid version can be viewed on the website.
